A Safe Harbor to Heal Trauma, Navigate Substance Use, and Reclaim Your Life
Trauma-informed, compassionate care to help you soothe emotional overwhelm, heal from past wounds, and rewrite your story on your own terms.

No matter how heavy the story you are carrying feels, you do not have to hold it alone.
So many people arrive in therapy feeling exhausted by survival mode—silently carrying the weight of past trauma, struggling with substance use or addiction, or feeling overwhelmed by emotional swings that seem impossible to control. You might feel judged, misunderstood, or quietly weary from trying to navigate complex life struggles on your own.
My practice is a soft, non-judgmental harbor where you are met with unconditional warmth, dignity, and respect. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you sit down with me. Whether you are seeking a fresh start in recovery, trying to heal deep emotional pain, or navigating a major life transition, we will go at a pace that honors your readiness and safety.

I am deeply passionate about walking alongside you as you lay down the burden of shame and step into a grounded, hopeful future.

My clinical lens is shaped by over 15 years of dedicated front-line and residential therapy experience supporting individuals through addictions, trauma, and mental health challenges across Ontario.
Having served in residential treatment centers, crisis settings, and community health organizations, I have witnessed firsthand the incredible strength and resilience of the human spirit. My work is rooted in real-world compassion and an understanding that true healing requires seeing the whole person—your history, your environment, and your unique strengths.

I work through a deeply trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and anti-oppressive lens. I believe that coping mechanisms—even the ones that feel destructive or painful today—often started as smart, necessary ways to survive unbearable pain or overwhelm.

In our sessions, we won't just focus on stopping a behavior or managing a symptom; we will uncover and heal the hurt beneath it. Integrating Motivational Interviewing, CBT, DBT-informed emotional regulation skills, and harm reduction, I tailor our work to your personal goals. We co-create a collaborative, grounded space where you can soften shame, rebuild trust in yourself, and develop practical tools for lasting emotional balance.

Areas of Focus:

-
Addictions, Concurrent Disorders & Relapse Prevention: Meeting you without shame or rigid expectations. Whether your path involves abstinence, moderation, or harm reduction, we build practical coping strategies and heal the core emotional wounds driving the urge to escape.
-
Healing Trauma, Interpersonal Violence & PTSD: Helping your mind and nervous system release chronic fight-or-flight activation. Using gentle, trauma-sensitive frameworks to process painful experiences, set healthy boundaries, and rebuild a sense of safety within yourself.
-
Emotional Regulation, Anxiety & Mood Disturbances: Utilizing DBT-informed skills and CBT to soothe intense emotional swings, manage anxiety and depression, and cultivate practical daily calm when life feels overwhelming.
-
Identity, Cultural Expectations, & Life Transitions: Dedicated care for individuals navigating major life pivots, career burnout, identity evolution, and the unique pressure of balancing generational or cultural expectations.
-
Complex Life Transitions, Navigation & Advocacy: Supporting adults navigating major life shifts, housing challenges, justice involvement, or systemic barriers with a compassionate, experienced advocate who understands the weight of starting over.
If you've been carrying something for a long time, or you're standing at a crossroads and feeling unsure of your next step, therapy can be a place to pause, reflect, and begin sorting through it together. You don't need to arrive with the answers. Let's sit and Discover Your Path together.
