I'll help you see what you can't see on your own.
If you are reading this, you are likely navigating a difficult stretch of your journey. Whether you are arriving here as an individual or as a couple searching for therapy with a registered psychotherapist, I believe that the work we do is about meeting you exactly where you are and figuring out what comes next. It’s not about starting over.
At its heart, psychotherapy is a conversation that heals. It’s a dedicated time to think through your thoughts out loud and to truly feel your feelings in a space that is safe and grounded. We talk so that the “noise” can start to make sense, and so you can find the room to regulate and breathe again.
A direct & relational approach to healing that will challenge you.
I believe that our health and our struggles are deeply tied to the relationships we navigate every day. We do not live in isolation. My work with couples is a cornerstone of my practice, and it guides the work I do with individuals as well.
I focus on couples therapy, supporting those working through communication challenges, infidelity, or substance use. Whether you are both trying to heal from betrayal and resentment or looking for the tools to build a more satisfying relationship, we work together to untangle the dynamics. I also support couples through the process of respectfully parting ways when a partnership has reached its natural conclusion.
When we work one-on-one, this systemic lens brings a unique depth to my individual therapy. I consider not just your internal thoughts, but the interpersonal “system” you live within. This helps us look at how you connect with others, set healthy boundaries, and move through patterns of codependency.
Helping individuals and couples break unhealthy patterns and build stronger relationships.
My approach is heartfelt and deeply human, but I am also a direct partner in this work. I won’t just sit in silence, I will challenge you – not to control your direction, but to help you look at the patterns or the “stuck” places that are hard to see on your own. I believe that being honest and direct is a form of respect for your growth.
My own path to this work wasn’t a straight line. Before becoming a therapist, I was a singer-songwriter and navigated the manufacturing, insurance, and corporate worlds. These diverse roles taught me that our perceived “weaknesses” are often protective layers or hidden strengths waiting to be understood.
I know the courage it takes to pause and find your path when the way forward feels obscured. Through my time sitting with those at the end of life in hospice care, facilitating grief groups and facing my own personal losses, my purpose became clear; to walk with others through the raw, real moments of their lives.
I offer support for couples and individuals (ages 21+) navigating:
-
Trauma, PTSD, & CPTSD Therapy: Providing deeply compassionate, direct support for individuals dealing with childhood trauma, hypervigilance, and avoidant coping mechanisms. Holding certification as a Clinical Trauma Specialist, I partner with you to help make sense of your nervous system's reactions and build a grounded path toward genuine emotional safety and trauma recovery.
-
DBT for Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) & Emotional Dysregulation: Providing a steady, entirely non-judgmental container for individuals navigating intense emotional storms, identity shifts, and the exhausting highs and lows of relationships. Utilizing Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) strategies, we work on navigating fears of abandonment, establishing a secure sense of self, and building practical distress tolerance and emotional regulation skills to anchor you when your internal world feels overwhelming.
-
ADHD Couples Counseling & Neurodiverse Relationships: Providing dedicated support for couples navigating the unique impact of ADHD in relationships. Holding credentials as an ADHD-CCSP (Certified ADHD Clinical Services Provider), I help partners break out of chronic cycles of blame, resentment, and the exhausting "parent-child" dynamic. Together, we build realistic, brain-friendly communication strategies to navigate executive functioning differences, manage emotional dysregulation, and restore connection and equity.
-
Infidelity, Betrayal, & Couples Counseling: Focusing on complex relationship dynamics, navigating the painful aftermath of affairs and betrayal trauma, or managing the intersection of relationships and substance use. Utilizing Gottman Method Couples Therapy and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) to help you break stuck communication patterns, rebuild safety, or respectfully part ways.
-
Grief Counseling, Loss, & End-of-Life Support: Drawing from a rich foundation of hospice care and grief group facilitation to walk with you through raw, life-altering losses. Whether it’s losing a loved one, a primary relationship, or the future you expected to have, this is a sacred space to learn how to carry your grief rather than trying to force yourself to "get over it".
-
Anxiety, Depression, & Relational Therapy: Helping individuals and couples break free from chronic worry, anger, panic attacks, or codependent patterns. We look at your life through an interpersonal, systemic lens to unpack the root causes of where you're stuck, learn to set healthy boundaries, and find your room to breathe again.
