A Collaborative Virtual Psychotherapy Practice for Lasting Relationship Healing.
As a practice rooted deeply in relationship dynamics, we know that relationship healing doesn't happen in isolation. A common roadblock in couples therapy is that the same clinician cannot ethically see both partners for individual therapy.
That is exactly why Discover Your Path Psychotherapy expanded from a solo practice into a collaborative team.
With your explicit consent, our in-house practitioners can seamlessly collaborate behind the scenes. This allows one partner to focus on individual trauma, ADHD coping strategies, or emotional regulation skills, while the other partner receives dedicated individual support—all while remaining completely aligned with your overarching couples therapy goals. We bridge the gap between individual growth and relationship recovery under one trusted roof.

A message from Pamela: What to expect from the initial consultation.
You're exhausted from fighting your own anxiety
The worry starts before you even get out of bed, and no amount of logic makes it stop. You've tried to manage it on your own — but if it were that simple, you would have figured it out by now.
Betrayal has shattered your sense of safety
Infidelity and betrayal trauma change how safe you feel in your own life. Whether you want to rebuild or find clarity, support can help you move forward.
You Have Reached the Limit of What You Can Carry Alone
Sometimes the hardest part isn’t realizing that something in your life isn’t working anymore. It’s knowing that, and still not being sure what to do next. You might recognize yourself in one of these places today:
You Might Be Here Because...
Something happened that changed everything
Trauma can leave you hypervigilant, avoidant, and wondering why you're stuck. Your reactions make complete sense given what you've been through — and with the right support, healing is possible.
You're carrying grief or loss
Grief is not something you get over — support can help you carry it. Whether it's a person, a relationship, or a life you thought you'd have, you don't have to hold it alone.
Stuck patterns keep you ending up in the same place
The same arguments, the same anxiety, the same reactions — no matter how hard you try to change them. Patterns this deep have roots that are hard to see alone.
You've always felt like you were trying harder than everyone else
Years of missed deadlines, difficult relationships, and being told to just try harder take a real toll on how you see yourself. ADHD isn't a character flaw — and you don't have to keep figuring it out alone.
Services: How we can help
Focusing on anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, grief, ADHD coping strategies, life transitions, and chronic burnout. This is a space that is entirely yours—honest, direct, and collaborative. We don't just explore why you feel this way; we actively challenge you to move past old survival habits and focus on creating real, sustainable change in your day-to-day life.
All psychotherapy sessions are virtual — available across Ontario and Canada. We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Our team aligns clinical training with your specific real-world challenges using recognized, validated modalities:
Utilizing Gottman Method Couples Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). We work with partners to step out of repetitive, exhausting communication loops. Our goal is to help you safely de-escalate chronic conflict, heal deep attachment injuries or betrayals, and actively rebuild a secure sense of intimacy, partnership, and trust.
Grief support groups divided strictly by the specific type of loss you are enduring. True healing from profound loss doesn’t happen in isolation; it happens through deep, shared connection. We intentionally separate our groups by the specific nature of your bereavement—because navigating the loss of a spouse requires a completely different emotional container than surviving the loss of a child. Your mourning deserves a space where you are truly understood without having to explain your pain.
About The Owner
I built this practice on a simple belief: therapy should be direct, deeply compassionate, and entirely human.
I'm Pamela Giarrizzo, a Registered Psychotherapist (RP, MACP) and founder of Discover Your Path Psychotherapy. My approach is relational and honest — I won't just nod and reflect. I'll help you see what's actually happening and work with you to change it.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in a corporate environment as a marketer, a supervisor in manufacturing, a volunteer in hospice care, and supported serious mental health issues at the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA). I understand what it means to sit with hard things and couples work shapes how I work with individuals.

Ritushaa Rajendram,
Registered Social Worker (RSW, MSW)
My approach is warm, collaborative and honest. I won't just listen, I'll help you notice the patterns and dynamics that might be keeping you stuck.
I've worked across community mental health, schools, and healthcare settings, including supporting children and families through York Region's wraparound program and within the Toronto District School Board. That range has shown me how much courage it takes to ask for support, and it shapes how I work with both individuals and couples.
