A Healing Conversation
If you are reading this, you are likely navigating a difficult stretch of your journey. Whether you are arriving here as an individual or as a couple searching for therapy with a registered psychotherapist, I believe that the work we do is about meeting you exactly where you are and figuring out what comes next, it’s not about starting over.
At its heart, psychotherapy is a conversation that heals. It’s a dedicated time to think through your thoughts out loud and to truly feel your feelings in a space that is safe and grounded. We talk so that the “noise” can start to make sense, and so you can find the room to regulate and breathe again.
A Relational Approach to Healing
I believe that our health and our struggles are deeply tied to the relationships we navigate every day, we do not live in isolation. My work with couples is a cornerstone of my practice, and it guides the work I do with individuals as well.
I focus on couples therapy, supporting those working through communication challenges, infidelity, or substance use. Whether you are both trying to heal from betrayal and resentment or looking for the tools to build a more satisfying relationship, we work together to untangle the dynamics. I also support couples through the process of respectfully parting ways when a partnership has reached its natural conclusion.
When we work one-on-one, this systemic lens brings a unique depth to my individual therapy. I consider not just your internal thoughts, but the interpersonal “system” you live within. This helps us look at how you connect with others, set healthy boundaries, and move through patterns of codependency.
The Journey Shared
My approach is heartfelt and deeply human, but I am also a direct partner in this work. I won’t just sit in silence, I will challenge you – not to control your direction, but to help you look at the patterns or the “stuck” places that are hard to see on your own. I believe that being honest and direct is a form of respect for your growth.
My own path to this work wasn’t a straight line. Before becoming a therapist, I was a singer-songwriter and navigated the manufacturing, insurance, and corporate worlds. These diverse roles taught me that our perceived “weaknesses” are often protective layers or hidden strengths waiting to be understood.
I know the courage it takes to pause and find your path when the way forward feels obscured. Through my time sitting with those at the end of life in hospice care, facilitating grief groups and facing my own personal losses, my purpose became clear; to walk with others through the raw, real moments of their lives.
